How do you feel anxiety?

-My temperature rises and I get irritable, so I take off all my layers before doing anything that makes me anxious.

-I feel anxiety on my shoulders, it’s like overwhelming pressure. My stomach erupts with butterflies and I get a headache.

-My anxiety is in my chest, the thoughts loop around my head, circulating a sense of dread, panic and fear through my body.

What are some coping mechanisms that help?

-Drinking a glass of water and moving around helps calm me down.

-Distracting myself with things I enjoy is my strategy, like reading a favourite book or playing games.

-Exercise, distractions, reaching out to my friends, and educating myself on what’s making me anxious is what works best for me.
